Ida Levine, Board Member and Lead Expert at the Impact Investing Institute, spoke at this event, hosted by Hausfeld, the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) and the University of Glasgow School of Law. Featuring a keynote address from Mary Robinson and climate activist Venessa Nakate, the event focused on the role of courts, legislators and private market participants in addressing the climate crisis.

Dame Elizabeth Corley, Chair of the Impact Investing Institute, delivered the keynote address on the theme of mobilisation on the second day of the Green Horizon summit.

At the final session of the Further, Faster Conference, our Chief Executive, Sarah Gordon gave a talk on the subject of finance and how we can mobilise private sector capital for a global Just Transition.

Sarah Gordon appeared as a panellist on the Finance Stage of Climate Action’s Sustainable Innovation Forum. The panel discussion focused on how best to mobilise capital in NDCs and connect investors with suitable projects.

GLASGOW – The Impact Investing Institute is delighted to announce a series of new adopters and supporters to our Impact Investing Principles for Pensions,  highlighting the role that pension schemes can play in the transition to Net Zero.

Events

The Finance for Impact Summit on Monday, 18 July 2022 will bring together leaders of finance, business, governments and other institutions from around the world to discuss how we can better harness finance for the good of people and the planet. This one-day event will be held in person at Mansion House in London, and streamed live to a global audience.
