Julian joined the Institute in April of 2023 as an operations intern. He is from Colombia and is pursuing a master’s in Public Administration at UCL. In addition, he holds an economics and business degree from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, where he taught principles of microeconomics. 

He worked for over eight years in Colombia’s government and Congress. Recently, he joined the United Nations Volunteers program at the United Nations Development Program. His interests are high-impact ventures in rural areas, climate finance, and the financial inclusion of vulnerable groups. 

In his spare time, Julian likes running and getting to know hidden places in London with his wife and little daughter.
