In the first episode of our In Conversation series, our Chair, Dame Elizabeth Corley, speaks to Pete Gladwell, Group Social Impact and Investment Director at Legal and General Capital about place-based impact investing.

Place-based impact investing is investing with the intention to yield appropriate risk-adjusted financial returns as well as positive local impact, with a focus on addressing the needs of specific places.

In their conversation, Elizabeth and Pete dive into how place-based impact investing works practically, how it is not one-size-fits-all approach, and how intentionality is key to this approach to investing.

In our In Conversation series, produced in collaboration with Asset TV, we will share 15-20 minutes videos on topics around impact investing.
