Webinar: COVID19 emergency funding for small businesses, social enterprises and charities

Event starts:

Many organisations, social enterprises, small businesses, and charities are struggling due to the circumstances COVID19 puts them in. Many are finding it impossible to access any of the government funding available, and all are having to think about different sources of emergency support.

For most in the social sector, that means grant or philanthropic funding. Last Thursday the government announced £750m of grant funding for charities, which is welcome, but we know the need is much greater.

This webinar was hosted by Sarah Gordon, chief executive of Impact Investing Institute and heard from Nick Temple, chief executive of Social Investment Business (SIB) and Cliff Prior, chief executive of Big Society Capital (BSC) on two emergency lending facilities for the social sector, charities and small businesses in disadvantaged parts of the UK.
