Andrés Alegüe joined the Impact Investing Institute in 2026 as Programme Manager for Place-Based Impact Investing. He leads the design and delivery of programmes that bring together key stakeholders across the ecosystem, helping places develop strong investment pipelines and attract capital for projects that meet local needs and deliver social and environmental benefits.
Andrés has extensive experience across wealth management, commercial strategy and impact investing. His previous work has included developing growth strategies that increased clients’ assets under management by 450%, leading a B Corp certification process, and supporting commercial and impact due diligence and impact reporting in venture philanthropy.
He is an On Purpose London Fellow and holds an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies. He also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Outside work, Andrés is a keen football fan.
