Bella was a founding member of the Impact Investing Institute and leads our Challenge Lab, developing innovative solutions that help private finance address societal challenges, like left behind communities and the fair transition to net zero.

Bella joined the Institute from the UK government’s Inclusive Economy Unit, where she was a senior policy advisor on impact investing. During this time, she worked on place-based impact investing and pensions programmes, including the government’s response to the Law Commission’s report on pensions and social investment. She also supported the Prime Minister’s Taskforce on growing a culture of social impact investing in the UK.

Prior to this, Bella worked for UBS Investment Bank in their equities trading businesses in New York and London.

Bella started her career in the charity sector and has a bachelor’s degree in theology.
