Raad is a Programme Manager at the Institute, where he leads work with private wealth holders to help shift capital towards impact. His focus is on supporting family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and the broader ecosystem of advisors and investment managers. He is a co-author of the Institute’s guide, “Capturing the Impact Opportunity: A Practical Guide for Wealth Managers.”
Raad brings a global perspective to systems change, having worked on sustainability and impact initiatives across four continents. He initially joined the Institute in October 2024 on secondment from a single-family office, where he developed and implemented the office’s impact investment and philanthropic strategy – overseeing portfolio design, mission alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
He holds a Juris Doctor (with distinction) from the University of New South Wales and completed his legal training at the Environmental Defenders Office in Sydney. He serves on the board of Smart Green Shipping, an organisation pioneering wind-powered solutions for the maritime industry’s green transition.
Outside of work, he is a qualified PADI Divemaster and a committed marine conservationist. He enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and regularly competes in sporting events.
