The challenge

More and more investors and businesses are including climate and social issues within their investment decision-making. The policy and regulatory environment for impact investing in the UK and globally, however, remains patchy and difficult to navigate. Businesses and investors both need greater clarity and consistency around how best to measure, manage, and report on social and environmental factors. 

How we look to solve it

We work with policymakers, regulators, and standard setters to encourage market conditions that support impact investing. We build and convene coalitions of senior leaders across the financial services industry and act as a bridge between determining best practice in impact investing and delivering practical policy. A key focus of our work is advancing policy around social issues, particularly those involved in ensuring a socially just transition to a net zero world.
